Over 20 years experience working with executives to design and implement initiatives to improve performance and innovation in organizations, processes and teams.  Initiatives typically focus on improving productivity, value to customers or the effectiveness of product development, program management or business processes.


Clients have included late stage start ups, mid-size companies and large global firms in high tech, medical products and service sectors.

At Sun Microsystems, Neil serves as a senior consultant working with executives and their teams to design and implement major initiatives that cut across business units or the whole company. Most client projects involve strategy, organization design and change management support.

At GE Corporate Consulting he led the development and implementation of GE quality management, product development, program management and leadership best practice programs. Key team member on productivity improvement task force reporting to Jack Welch. Developed and led 1-3 week executive development programs at Crotonville - GE's Management Development Center.

Led a forecasting improvement and inventory reduction initiative that resulted in a 50% reduction in inventory costs and 200% improvement in inventory turnover while overcoming competing agendas and gaps in sponsorship.

Enabled a profitable entry into a new consumer market by facilitating a product cost reduction effort that reduced product costs 20% by innovating new approaches in the Singapore manufacturing facility and U.S. design centers.
